only thing that would genuinely make flying deeper is proper sim elements. stall behaviour, trim, actual weight. not happening in a gta though, lets be real

not happening in a gta though

nah theyll give us one new plane, a slightly different stall noise, and the trailer will call it the most advanced flight model in the series

the flatness is genuinely the one thing that nags at me about this game. san andreas had city, desert, mountains, wetlands, and that variety is what made everything from flying to offroading feel different depending on where you were. they seem to be adding some hills to leonida and i hope they push it further, even if florida doesnt really work like that irl.

if georgia ever turns up as an expansion you get the blue ridge stuff, which would fix it completely. swamps and changing water levels are nice but its not the same as canyons.

and look, going back to vice city is lovely, but for gta 7 (if im still breathing by then) id kill for somewhere new. rio with the hills and the favelas stacked against the coast, or tokyo with the mountains and the driving culture. way more room for a varied map than florida gives them

also the city itself is not flat is it. threading a heli between the towers downtown, under the causeways, thats your verticality right there
